different resilience-oriented assessments and interventions

You have explored different resilience-oriented assessments and interventions that can be used once the assessments have been completed. In this Assignment, you will have the opportunity to develop a fictional case study and then use a specific resilience-oriented assessment, a relational genogram, to map the relationships of the fictional family and then identify evidenced-based interventions that can be used with either individuals or the family unit in the fictional case study.

Please respond to the following:

Develop a fictional case study that details a specific crisis event. The case study must include information about family relationships.
Using the Genogram Template, complete the genogram using the fictional case study you developed in above and insert a copy of the genogram in your paper.
Identify and discuss at least two evidenced-based interventions you could use with the fictional case study you developed.
The interventions can be either for a specific individual presented in the case study or the family unit as a whole. You can also identify one individual intervention and one family intervention. Be sure you clearly indicate if the intervention is for a specific individual or for the family as a whole.
Evaluate the success of the interventions using empirical support (results of research studies on each intervention discussed above).

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO UTILIZE THE GENOGRAM

Basically what I want you to do is create a case study (a fictional story) about the family that is listed on the genogram (attached) and make the topic about divorce.

· Introduce case study: Maybe try statistics of divorce? How did the divorce affect the children? Divorce runs in the family?

· Briefly elaborate about each person (maybe 3-5 sentences) makeup what they do for a living, how they are related (based on the geno gram) and personality etc.

Grandpa Cornell: age 88 divorced

Grandma Star: age 86 divorced

Aunt Kim: age 54 never married

Aunt Nessa: age 54 divorced

Uncle Donald: age 57 never married

Grandpa Beaux: age 86 married for 30 years

Grandma Sonia: age 87 married for 30 years

Mother Katina: age 56 divorced

Father Chris: age 58 divorced

Uncle Charles: age 55 never married

Aunt Gloria: age 53 never married

Uncle Steven: age 50 never married

Child Adrian: age 16 marijuana

Child Dante: age 14 he plays football

Child Taylor: age 14 she is a cheerleader

Child Camille: age 8 anger issues, failing, was an A and B student, plays volleyball but grades dropped

Child Jaylon: age 10 he plays basketball

· Example: Grandma Star and Grandpa Cornell are divorced. Two out of four of their children are divorced as well. The Father Chris and mother Katina are divorced and it has affected their two out of five of their children. The oldest: Adrian, 16 began to turn to recreational drugs to cope with divorce (he is smoking marijuana, talk about it being a gateway drug etc). The youngest: Camille, 8 started to have behavior issues in school (further elaborate school problems such as fights or bad grades). Adrian and Camille have a broken relationship with their parents Chris and Katina.

· Evidence-Based Interventions: These are suggested links you can use to find evidence based interventions for children dealing with divorce.
